Policies
CAMPING

Camping is allowed only within the designated space provided. Do not go beyond the boundaries of your site. Single unit sites have a maximum limit of 8 people. Double sites have a maximum limit of 16 people. Maximum stay, in a developed area, is 7,14 or 16 days depending on the facility.

The campsite must be occupied during the first night of your stay and must be attended during each 24 hour period. A sleeping unit must occupy the site. Utah Recreation Company is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property.

Occupying any portion of the site for other than recreation purposes is prohibited. (CFR 261.16 4) Utah Recreation Company is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property.

Remove all personal property and trash when leaving.

Please put all garbage in the containers provided. Garbage containers, when provided, are reserved for visitors to the National Forest, not for visitors or owners of private lands or lands under permit.

All food and personal items must be washed AWAY from drinking water supplies. Cleaning fish, animals, or bathing where drinking water is supplied is strictly prohibited.

Please do not put garbage or fish waste in toilets.

No fighting or boisterous behavior. Be courteous to your fellow visitor. Keep noise at a reasonable level.

When operating an audio device, such as a radio or musical instrument, make sure not to disturb other forest visitors.

Quiet Hours are 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. No generators after 10:00 p.m.

Pets if allowed must always be restrained, or on a leash. No more than two pets per campsite.

The use of fireworks or other explosives is prohibited within the campground. Firing a gun within the campground is not allowed.
FEES

Your fee is due within 30 minutes upon your arrival.

Read instructions carefully and SELF-REGISTER. Campground Fees are separate from Launch Facility Fees or Day Use Fees. Your fee for a single site includes one vehicle or vehicle combination. A double site includes two vehicles. Additional vehicles will be charged an additional fee.

You can pay with cash or check, some locations will accept credit cards ( Anderson Cove Campground, Port Ramp Marina, Cemetery Point (Bluffs) Picnic Area, Middle Inlet Picnic Area, Guinavah-Malibu Campground, Storm Mountain Picnic Area, Spruces Campground, Tanners Flat Campground, Strawberry Bay Campground, Soldier Creek Campground, Aspen Grove Campground, Currant Creek Campground).

At the Boat Launching Facilities PERMITS EXPIRE at Midnight.

Failure to comply with Posted Fee Instructions can result in prosecution by the District Attorney for Defrauding an Innkeeper (Section 76-6-505 Penal Code). A conviction under this section carries a fine of up to $1,000.00 or imprisonment in the county jail for up to 6 months or both.
CHANGE AND CANCELLATIONS
To ensure fairness, reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed outside the 6- or 12-month booking window until 18 days after booking the reservation.

Camping/Day Use: A $10.00 service fee will apply if you change or cancel your reservation (including campsites, cabins, lookouts, group facilities, etc.). The $10.00 service fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Cancel or change reservations through Recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777.
LATE CANCELLATIONS
Late cancellations are those canceled after 12:00 midnight (Eastern Time) two days before arrival.

Individual Campsites: If an individual cancels a reservation the day before or on the day of arrival, they will be charged a$ 10.00 service fee and will also forfeit the first night’s use fee (not to exceed the total paid for the original reservation). Cancellations for a single night's reservation will forfeit the entire use fee but no cancellation fee will apply

Cabins/Lookouts: Guests will be charged a $10.00 cancellation fee and forfeit the first night's use fee if a cabin or lookout reservation is canceled within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date.

Group Facility: If a guest cancels a group overnight facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date, they will be charged the $10.00 service fee and forfeit the first night's use fee. Cancellations for a single night's use will not be assessed a service fee.

Group Day Use Facility: If a guest cancels a group day-use facility reservation within 14 days of the scheduled arrival date, they will forfeit the total day use fee with no service fee charge.
NO SHOWS
Reserved campsites and group overnight facilities will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival. Group day use facilities will be held until check-in time on your scheduled arrival date. No-shows, early departures, or cancellations after the scheduled arrival date are not entitled to a refund. Cancellations for a single night's use reservation will forfeit the entire use fee but no cancellation fee will apply. If a guest does not arrive at the campground or group facility by check-out time the day after arrival and does not cancel the reservation by the times listed under “Late Cancellations” above, he or she will be assessed a $20.00 service fee and forfeit the first-night use fee or the total day-use fee.
REFUNDS
If the reservation was made through recreation.gov please call 1-877-444-6777 to make a refund request. Refunds must be requested no later than 14 days after your scheduled departure date.

Reservation Fee: For some facilities, an additional reservation fee is charged. This additional non-refundable fee is $10.00 for the call center and online reservations.

Refunds for Bankcard Purchases: Refunds for bank card payments will be issued as a credit to the original bankcard. Please note the charge on your bank card statement will read "Recreation.gov 888-448-1474."

Refunds for Check or Cash Purchases: Refunds for Recreation.gov payments made by check or money order, and cash payments at selected campgrounds will be issued a check refund. A refund will be processed within 30 days of receipt and approval. Please Note! Refund requests made during or after departure can only be processed when approved by the facility management staff based upon local policy.

Refunds for Emergency Closures: In the event of an emergency closure the Recreation.gov will attempt to notify users and offer alternate dates and sites (as appropriate). If this is not possible, reservations will be canceled and all fees paid will be refunded.
If you request a refund during your stay, please know that our staff in the field do not have the authorization to issue any refund. If you are requesting a refund for your walk-up site, please contact the host on-site. All refunds must be approved and issued through our corporate office or processed though Recreation.gov. After the refund is approved the guest will be issued and mailed a check.
SENIOR AND ACCESS PASS DISCOUNTS
Owners of the Interagency Senior and Access Passes (and the Golden Age and Access Passes) may receive a fifty-percent discount on the use fee for individual campsites. This discount does not apply to fees for cabins, lookouts, or group facilities and it may not apply for specific facility amenities such as electricity, water, sewer, or extra fees charged for prime or premium sites.
Pass Verification: Guests with these passes are required to provide the pass number at the time the reservation is made to receive the discount, and to present the pass and one form of identification upon arrival. If you do not provide proper documentation, you must pay the full recreation use fee before using the facility. If a guest makes more than one reservation for the same location and date(s), the discount will only apply to the site the pass owner occupies.
LOST AND FOUND POLICY
All items found at our facilities will be collected and turned in to the corporate office. Staff will log in all the information available about the item and occupant of the site where the item was found (include site number if applicable), and date. If an item is of value, we will make an effort to locate any information on the guest who may have lost it. All items will be kept until the end of the season before the item’s disposition is decided.
If you are reporting a lost item to one of our staff please provide your name, contact information, a description of the item lost and most likely location it went missing. Please contact our corporate office at 385.273.1100 to find out if your lost item was found. We will make every effort to try to locate your lost item.
COMMENT CARDS / REVIEWS
Our comment cards are available through QR code signposted on every fee board. Even, if there is no cell phone reception, you can take a picture of the QR code and fill out the online comment card when you return home from your adventure. All facilities with reservations have a link to our online comment card on the reservation confirmation.
PARKING

Parking is allowed only on paved spurs and other designated parking areas.

Do not block campground roadways. All boat trailers must either be parked in the site spur or in a designated parking area.

Make sure that each vehicle is displaying a properly executed USE PERMIT.

Do not leave any vehicle unattended without a USE PERMIT.

Make sure to obey all posted signs regarding parking.
CAMPFIRES
Obey restrictions on fires. Fires may be limited or prohibited at certain times. Within campgrounds and other recreation sites, build fires only in designated fire rings, stoves, grills, or fireplaces provided for that purpose.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR KEEPING FIRES UNDER CONTROL.
Be sure your fire is completely extinguished before leaving. Use water and a shovel. Do not bury hot coals.
OPERATION OF VEHICLES
Obey all traffic signs. State traffic laws apply to the National Forests unless otherwise specified. The speed limit within the campground is 10 m.p.h.
SANITATION
Throw all garbage and litter in containers provided for this purpose or take it with you. Wash food and personal items away from drinking water supplies. Use water faucets for drawing water only. Use the toilets properly. Do not throw garbage, litter, fish cleanings, or other foreign substances in toilets or plumbing fixtures. Do not use portable toilets as a dump station. Please leave your campsite in a clean and orderly manner. We ask that you do not move tables from other camp units. No posting or solicitation of information not approved by the Forest Service.
